Caffeine level is fine. It's slightly bitter without cream and the after taste dissipates quickly. After a few sips without cream the bitterness levels out. With cream the bitterness is gone and it is definitely silky and not overpowering on the caffeine. It's a delicious cup for experienced coffee gurus
